RAIN OR SHINE - Tomorrow (Saturday 12 November - 11am to 7pm). Central New Brighton School - just over the roundabout. There will be 10 bands, children's entertainment and activities, Foodies, Face Painting, Caricature Drawing, Bouncy Castles, Tgoma, Magicians, Belly Dancers - etc. Great day out - $20 Families, $10 Adults, $5 Children (see poster for all information). The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?

On behalf - Dog wanted. If a dog needs rehoming with the best
dog parents, they are wanting to give that dog a home with lots of company & experience. Their dog died & wanted to wait but now they are looking to get another. Preferably medium sized black lab cross mix or similar. Had two then one now none :(
