Papanui High School Writing Books for Children Nightclass

Papanui High School is offering a course for those who are wanting to learn how to write books for children and young adults. This course will cover writing for all ages from children's picture books through to the young adult/teenage market and will look at plotting, characters, techniques and publishing and self publishing. This course is being taught by Michele McConnochie. Michele is the author of a trilogy for children and has written over 300 features for newspapers and run her own publishing company. She now teaches writing, and volunteers for the New Zealand Society of authors. This course is being held on Wednesday night 7-9 pm for 6 weeks at a cost of $112.
