Dart Players

Raima from Mairehau

Looking for dart players or those wanting to play. No experience necessary. Apart from being able to do basic maths like adding and subtracting. We are a team of 6 per side, 2 teams per pub. There are 12 pubs within the Canterbury Round Robin Dart League. I currently play out of the Waimak pub and we are looking for either players that have played before and wanting to get back into the game again on a fun and casual basis, or those that are just starting and wanting to get started in the game. We play once a wk on Saturday starting at 1pm finish usually by 5:30, very rarely does it go longer than that. Any information please dont be shy to ask.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
