Suspicious activity

Peter from Mairehau

I had a guy knock on our door at 6.30am this morning, he was dressed as a tradesman looking for a guy called Rick. My house is 257 Knowles St and he said he was meant to be painting at 275 Knowles St so because he was dyslexic he got the numbers mixed up. He was a brown man, with black hair, short to medium build, average build. He was wearing a high vis and a dust mask around his neck. I'm a builder and he looked suspicious. I did interrogate him because I was suspicious, he did got defensive and left the property. So when he left I went down to 275 Knowles Street and he was not there, so I had a look around the neighbourhood and could not find him.
Please be diligent, if you see this man again please call police. I suspect he was going to burgle us.
