Just received an email from Ecan advising us that Lake Ellesmere is OPEN. to the sea. The heavy machinery will remain in place.on standby until the lake has dropped sufficiently. Hope the water has not done too much damage to our fishing hut at Lower Selwyn Huts.

Hey our community garden is working on some weaved garden beds and we need reasonable sized sticks for the posts, they need to be about 30-50mm wide and 1 -2 metres long. We are open to clearing your whole prune just to get the big sticks.

we are also on the hunt for suckers that pop up from hazelnut and willow trees so if anyone wants a team to come and do some free pruning for you in exchange for these also message me.

Some nasty person stole a trailer that we were using to put hoardings for the Labour Party up. It was small and looked like the one below. It is a Kea brand - registration U504M. A reward if found - or perhaps just let me know where I can pick it up!
