We want to give more than 1000 people a true Kiwi celebration meal on Christmas Day.
And to us that means they should get a slice of pavlova.
With your help it can be done.
If you can spare an uncreamed pavlova to make Christmas special for fellow Cantabrians, please drop it in to our Hereford St premises.
We are also looking for donations of Christmas mince pies, Christmas cake and cream.
We are open from 9am-4pm Saturday and Sunday this weekend to accept donations, if that helps.
We’d love to see you. Thanks Christchurch!
Just a word of warning people.... Tobi has just told me Neighbourly has removed his account for posting jokes without a warning...
This seems a completely over the top reaction by neighbourly and I hope they will reconsider.
Come on neighbourly... very poor!!
Stay safe people.
Mixed paper, plastic and glass from Christchurch and Banks Peninsula households will go to landfill, instead of being recycled. If people are struggling to fit all their general rubbish in their red wheelie bin during the lockdown, they can put excess in the yellow wheelie bin - temporarily.
