My Resene Upcycling Award entry
I painted these draws for my daughter -inspired by the beautiful shell-inlay furniture that I had seen in travels across India- but which my budget definitely wouldn't stretch to! So instead I tracked down a set of sound old drawers from trademe for $10, and painted them, first with Resene's Smooth Surface Sealer which meant that I didn't have to prep too hard- and then with Resene Lustacryl - Waterborne Enamel for a durable finish. The detail was hand drawn and improvised as I went :)
