Drivers are being urged to take extra care on Christchurch and Banks Peninsula roads today as the heavy rain is likely to cause surface flooding and make roads slippery.

Changes are coming on Worcester Street, vehicles will be able to turn left off Worcester Street and onto Fitzgerald Avenue, but only cyclists will be able to travel through the Fitzgerald Street intersection.
