Christchurch's chlorine-free drinking water target now end of July
It was May, then October, but now the Christchurch City Council hopes all residents will be able to enjoy a glass of chlorine-free water "most of the time" by the end of July.
The council says to reach that deadline it will need to reroute part of its water network to mainly use the pumping stations supplied by upgraded wells.
