Can I return my unwanted gifts?
You can return goods which were given to you if there is a serious fault with the goods, including if they were a gift.
However, you do not have the right to return goods you were given just because you do not like your gift - unless the retailer has a returns policy that allows this. If you are buying a gift for someone, you can ask the retailer whether they will give you an exchange card, so that the person receiving the gift can choose to exchange it for something else at the shop (eg, if they do not like it, they already have it, it is the wrong size or is otherwise unsuitable).
