Area: Coastal Canterbury, including Christchurch and especially Banks Peninsula
Valid: 9 hours from 12:00pm to 9:00pm Monday
Forecast: South to southwest winds may approach severe gale in exposed places during this time, especially about higher parts of Banks Peninsula.
