Get great discounts and help CAB with the Entertainment Book

The Team from Citizens Advice Christchurch Area

At CAB we help people to know and understand their rights and obligations and how to use this information to get the best outcomes. We provide people with the confidence and support they need to take action, and we work for positive social change within communities and wider society. We provide a free and independent service to all. Interviewers are Volunteers giving up their time freely in the service of others.

Your purchase of an Entertainment Membership contributes to our fundraising.

If you select the pick-up option when you order a book then you have a choice of collecting it from our City, Fendalton or Hornby branches. We will contact you about your preference once you have ordered.

Poll: Pedestrian access is being extended to the Ōtakaro Avon River - good idea?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Pedestrian access from one of Christchurch’s favourite streets is being extended all the way to the Ōtakaro Avon River. This new 12m-wide pathway will give you a direct, easy route from the street to the river promenade ... perfect for a stroll, a coffee run, or just soaking up the riverside vibes.

We want to know: In your view, what makes a city people-friendly?
What else should our urban areas be doing to support better community connections?

Curious about the full plans? You can check them out here.
