Dedicated edition of the Christchurch Mail

Shannon Beynon Reporter from Christchurch Mail

Hi neighbours,
next week's edition of the Christchurch Mail will be dedicated to New Brighton and the eastern suburbs. We're planning on getting updates on what's happening, what's still to come, and we'd love to talk to some locals about the great things about living in the eastern suburbs. If you'd be happy to have a quick chat and a photo, please get in touch. We're hoping to be around this weekend, so sing out if you're keen!
Either drop us a note here, or email shannon.beynon@fairfaxmedia.co.nz or give me a call on 027 497 3717.
Look forward to talking to you!
Shannon (Ed).

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
