Stolen Bike/Sons Birthday Present

Tracey from Sockburn

Do you recognise this bike? It was dumped outside my house in exchange for my sons brand new 24inch bike that he just received for his birthday. Has someone come home with a brand new black and green Milazo bike with some speckles of mud on tyres and frame that you didn't know they had. Or has anyone seen a bike of this description dumped anywhere? The seat is up on this red adventurer bike so I presume it is an adult or tall person. My son is devasted at this lost. It has happened somewhere between 12.00 pm last night and this morning. I live on Racecourse road between Bucannans and Waterloo road. Could it have been someone you know that works at the many factories close by that have turned up with a new bike at work today? I am on my own and it took a great deal of savings to purchase this for my son I am very distraught at the thought that somebody could just help themselves. If you know anything please call Tracey 0273802571

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
