Thank You
My 15 year old daughter fell in a shop in Riccarton today and impaled herself by her arm on a shop fitting. To the:
- friend who phoned the ambulance
- two male customers that helped free her
- the customer and nurse who bandaged the wound
- the paramedic who drove her to the hospital
- her friend who stayed by her side
- her friends who bussed to the hospital to support her
- the amazing doctor that stitched her up...
THANK YOU. Thank you for looking after my daughter, your kindness and caring are so appreciated. I feel very grateful to be living here with people like you. Sue

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
