The Wairarapa Film Festival returns next week for its 5th birthday!
Highlights include tributes to legendary editor Annie Collins, silent film pioneer Lily Branscombe, the world premiere of Never Forgotten by local filmmaker Mark Pacey, 40th anniversary screenings of Barry Barclayâs The Neglected Miracle and screenings of Rob Sarkiesâ Scarfies and Out of the Blue. You can also catch a Friday Night Thriller double feature of RĆ« and Coming Home In The Dark.
There are masterclasses for filmmakers working in all forms and at all skill levels with Annie Collins and Rob Sarkies. The festival also offers film talks, and panel discussions, giving audiences the chance to engage with industry professionals, learn new skills, and be inspired by the creative process.
The Autumn Programme runs from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 25 May.
