Central Wairarapa BMX Track renovation project
Its time for the big toys to roll up and move some earth to make this part of NZ's BMX history shine once more! After bringing together a selection of the community together we have been beavering away over the last summer doing what we can on our limited resources and time, we have now received quotes to bring in the diggers/rollers and workforce to restore the track to its former glory. We aim to provide a facility that will service the Wairarapa community for the next 30+ years providing an environment that supports children and their families to ride for fun and fitness and create great memories. We also hope that the track will give the youth an outlet to channel competitive spirit and riding creativity giving positive focus to mind/body and spirit.
