Cancer Society closes but has help at the ready for those in need
The Marlborough Cancer Society has only been in its new premises for a short time before it was forced to close down as the Government enforces the four-week lockdown.
Since the Government has confirmed the "continued provision of cancer services is essential" these will be available but will have to run differently.
Marlborough's Cancer Society's centre manager Felicity Spencer said the office is now closed but some staff are working remotely where possible.
"During this time we still have services available to support those people and their families affected by cancer," she said.
