Badger or Shag?
I was inspired to post this pic after reading that Naomi Whaanga spotted a Pied Shag and several Black Shags out of her window the other morning. Well done Naomi!
Sometimes the way shags stand they look like penguins. From the back this beauty looks a lot like a badger... but of course he's a pied shag.
This photo is taken by me at Te Pau Point, which is at the very end of Weymouth Road.
