Disruptions to western train service
Due to a bridge strike (where the railway bridge is hit by a vehicle), Western Line services are not operating the full length of the line.
Inbound services will only operate as far as Avondale, with outbound services operating to Morningside.
Maintainers are on the way to check the bridge for safety, services continue to be suspended between Avondale and Morninside. Taxis are providing a shuttle service between these 2 stations or catch scheduled buses from New North Rd.
