Free: Single bed with trundler that converts to 2 x singles or a double!

Bronnie from Glendene

Pick up from Glen Marine Parade.

Quite soft, so I think probably better as children's beds, as I sink in it when I have tried it! Mattresses in excellent condition. Used as guest beds after purchasing off trade me a couple of years ago and only slept in perhaps a handful of times!

Trundler wheels under for storage to make one single bed, or can pull out and even has fold-out legs so can make normal height and have both singles side by side (see pics).

Public transport in northwest Auckland is on the verge of receiving a $100 million touch up.

Auckland Transport and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency are asking for public opinion on an upgrade to bus routes that would speed up travel for 175,000 commuters.

The project would extend the existing bus shoulder lanes along the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) and build interim bus stops at Westgate and the Lincoln Road and Te Atatū motorway interchanges.

Transport Minister Phil Twyford said the project will allow faster and more frequent bus services.

“Bus passengers going from Westgate to the city during the morning peak could save up to 35 minutes on their journey as a result of these improvements,” he said.

“This project will also create around 300 jobs and support our economic recovery.”

Funding of $100 million has been provided to deliver these interim bus improvements as part of the Government’s recently announced stimulus funding package of infrastructure projects.

The improvements are to be built over the next five years and, once complete, will encourage more people to use public transport while plans are made for longer-term improvements.

Feedback is open until Sunday 25 October. To provide feedback, go to AT.govt.nz/haveyoursay

Hi neighbours. Transport authorities have pulled double-decker buses from the Auckland Harbour Bridge and are warning it could close completely during a massive storm forecast for much of the country. this weekend.

MetService previously said travel disruptions are likely this weekend, as severe gales, heavy rain and big waves batter the country, followed by cold Antarctic air bringing snow to low levels in the deep south.

Meteorologists believe the storm could be “one of the most widespread severe weather events this year”.

Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) general manager of transport services Brett Gliddon advised motorcyclists and those driving high-sided vehicles to avoid the bridge.

It's that time ladies and Gentlemen, that time of the year when we can enjoy the outdoors so much more & when everything seems so much better - DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!
Don't forget to put your clocks forward one hour tonight before going to bed.
Here is a guide to putting your clocks forward (all tongue in cheek of course):
1. Smartphone - leave it alone - it's magic, it does it all by myself with help form the cell phone genies😲
2. Sundial - move your house slightly to the right🙃
3. Oven/microwave - you will need one of the following: a) a degree in electrical engineering or b) a hammer😳
4. Car radio - not worth it. Leave it for a 6 months🙄
