Electric blanket testing

Chief Fire Officer from Titirangi Volunteer Fire Brigade

Titirangi Fire Brigade has partnered with STS Electrical Services Ltd to offer electric blanket testing this year.

There is a fixed charge of $15 per blanket, which will cover all aspects of the electrical test, including the issue of an electrical safety 'test' tag.
Proceeds will be put towards the purchase of a gas detector and training equipment.

Drop your blanket(s) off to the station between 10:30 and 12pm, Saturday 6 May. The blankets will be tested and a time arranged for collection.

Energy Safety have some great tips for keeping your blankets in great working condition; reducing the risk of fire.
