Senior Constable Don Allan's monthly newsletter

Colleen from Onehunga

Happy New Year Neighbours ..... A big welcome back to our Community Constable Don Allan & Piper no doubt ! In January, retail crime thefts spiked throughout Auckland & Onehunga resulting in criminals arrested and 151 individual charges laid with a number of individuals sentenced for their criminal offending. The Police are focusing a portion of policing time specifically to retail theft for 2025 !

Don comments on the alcohol ban in Onehunga town centre - this means no alcohol is to be consumed within this area. Any breach should be reported to 111 so Police have an opportunity to attend and identify those responsible and deal with them accordingly.

The detailed January crime stats for Onehunga are on page 3. There were 11reported thefts ex car - Please take your items out of the car, so many times people leave their valuable items in the car - golf clubs, handbags, phones, laptops etc. Our other associated areas show the crime maps for those areas

Last but by no means least ..... Coffee with a cop returns
Venue to be confirmed ---
Thursday 20th March at 10 - 11am

Stay Safe Neighbours
Regards
Colleen
