Long waits for cars after airport valet parking 'balls up'

Caroline Williams Reporter from Manukau Courier

About 30 people arriving at Auckland Airport from international flights were left stranded at the valet kiosk around 1.45am on Monday while staff took more than an hour to deliver people their cars. One woman described the situation as chaotic, saying "there didn't appear to be a very good system". An Auckland Airport spokesman said staff sickness and delayed flights arriving in short succession were to blame for the delays, and that affected passengers would be given a refund. Have you been stranded at the airport because of the valet service? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
