Injured Pukeko Update

Karen from Totara Vale

Good news! The injured bird is back. Well, good news aside for those who hate the Pookies.
He's looking amazingly improved albeit still very lame.
He spent the day lying on my front lawn in the sun resting his bad leg and is eating like a little pig. His plumage is looking really good.
He must have gone to ground to rest and keep away from the bullies and it seems to have done him the world of good.
Thanks to all who commented, offered help and cared about his wellbeing.
