Vocal Scholarships - FREE singing tuition
8 Vocal Scholarships are on offer from the Pitt St Methodist Church in Central Auckland for successful applicants. You must join the choir to receive a scholarship. Rehearsals are Tues evenings 6.15-8pm and services are Sunday mornings 10.30-11.30am with a warm-up from 9.45am. Applicants are required to audition but it's informal and nothing to worry about. Successful applicants will receive a 30min vocal lesson each week. Open to all ages 6+. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
