Looking for small helps from near neighbours when disabled temporarily or permanently

Kathryn from Royal Oak

3 weeks ago I broke my right arm - the humerus - but NOT FUNNY!
I had not realised how many ordinary daily activities would become so difficult e.g. lighting the gas on my stove top to cook myself an egg for lunch, getting the top off a pot of yogurt, hanging the washing on the line, as a woman, doing up one's bra! But going out to find a neighbour who does not have security gates, or who speaks a language in common is remarkably difficult. Have had some funny and rewarding experiences. What about you?
