Construction at Crash Corner (Church and Victoria Street intersection, Onehunga) is well underway!
As we gear up for the busy part of Christmas, construction will halt from Monday 9th December (today) and will re-commence on Thursday 26th December.
During this second phase of construction, the intersection will be fully closed. From the 26th December to the 15th January, detours will be in place but access to properties around the intersection will be maintained.
I hope you are keeping sane during the silly season. Please remember to drive safe on our local roads, particularly as road layouts change.
For any project related questions, please contact site manager Gareth Jones on 027 403 1551 or my office on 0800 DENISEMP.

Northwesterly winds have blown a hazy plume of smoke across the Tasman Sea, and while it has mostly affected the South Island in recent weeks, it has moved up the country.
The "robust plume" is expected to head to the South Island late on Saturday.
The haze has been causing a yellowish-orange, hue at sunset, making for some sweet sunset photos. Share your photos in the comments!
