We’re researching stories for our Tāmaki Herenga Waka: Stories of Auckland exhibition opening next year and want to hear from anyone with early memories of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and how it changed life for Aucklanders, especially on the North Shore.

Height is 73cm.
It has a safety clip you can open one-handed and the gate opens in either direction. Shuts automatically behind you.
The bars won’t allow heads to get stuck (unless pets are very small).
Buyer must collect from Mangere.
Thank you.

I dropped off some books about midday today and was concerned to see that the drop-off point was not at all well protected from the weather.
There was also a sign which stated what sort of books NOT wanted, but this was too late to be taken into consideration.
The organisers need to put more information on their website so that people donating know in advance. I am sad to think that some of my quite valuable books may be damaged before the book fair even happens.

The most popular options are the quick-and-easy triple fold, or folding the outer edges towards the centre before folding in thirds, to create a plusher, more spa-like look. But what do you do? And who knew folding towels could be so controversial?
