Today 45 mature native trees are being destroyed in Canal Road, Avondale today. Despite the community asking to save these trees they are coming down for some future development. Too bad about the community, the birds habitats, climate change, their beauty.

New Zealand’s minimum sick leave allowance is one of the lowest in the OECD. In Australia they get 10 days, in most European countries it’s even more.
