West Auckland Resource Centre in New Lynn

Marjolein from Glen Eden

Dear Neighbours,
The West Auckland Resource Centre is a small volunteer organization in Seabrook Ave New Lynn. We collect recycled materials and make these available to school and ECE teachers! Currently we are looking for some more volunteers on our opening days which is
Saturday 10-12 pm or Wednesday 12-2 pm. You can either help us by doing a duty, by coming to one of our working bees or by helping with the collection of the resources. Please ring Marjo 022-6779131 if you can help.

Also I wanted to let everyone know that our resource Centre's AGM will be 25th of May at 12 pm. Please contact Marjo for the venue if you are interested

Thank you very much: )

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
