Mental Health Workshop for Parents and Caregivers

Yuvaraj from Epsom

Dear Neighbours,

We want to invite you to the "Learning and Brain Function" workshop. Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Dr Dennisa Davidson will discuss the different forms of learning such as sensory, emotional, behavioural and academic learning, linking it with the stages of brain development and current brain function.

Registration details are given in the attached pdf. This will also be presented via zoom. If you want to join via zoom, please email vishwavaninz@gmail.com for the link.

We don't want finances to be a barrier to anyone attending, so there are other options on the registration portal.

Please feel free to pass on the information to anyone you know who may be interested and who may benefit.

Ngā mihi nui
Yuvaraj Davidson

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
