FRIENDLY MALE 2YR OLD CAT VICIOUSLY KICKED
We are letting our neighbours know that there is a person living between
Church Street & Spring street backing onto St Joseph's primary school who vicious kicked a friendly light/dark grey 2 year old tom cat so badly we took him to the vet & had to have him put to sleep because of the injuries sustained from that kicking. This beautiful, intelligent, friendly cat who we name Mr Friendly, had been visiting us for the past 6-8 months his only fault would have been him being inquisitive & over friendly he wouldn't have been hungry as he was a well looked after boy both by us & his owners. Unfortunately we didn't get the vet to check whether he was micro-chipped. if this was your boy, we have buried him in our back yard under
the bird of paradise that he loved to lounge under & bird-watch.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
