Office desk for free

Alex from Ellerslie

I have bought this desk in Trademe for $10 or so, about 2yrs ago. There are a couple of wear marks on it, and I had to refit two angle brackets between the side leg-plank and the back one. It has served me well during this time, but the one problem with it is the size: too big. I have already downsized to a smaller desk (with shelves above), and I've been trying to sell it for $5 in Trademe, to no avail. Dimensions are 1820x1100 (on the left side - must be 800-900 on the right).

Hence, this one goes for free to anyone interested. Pickup in Ellerslie. Visits can be arranged on request. Cheers, Alex

PS: Only the desk itself is being sold - no other items in the pictures are for sale.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
