Just a heads up for our current Matariki exhibition featuring the late Ralph Hotere's 'Song of Solomon' painting series as well as lighting from local lighting artist David Trubridge of Firefly Light & Design .
This exhibition features diverse works from 5 contemporary Maori artists - Joanne Barrett, Heidi Brickell, Natanahira Pona, Ruth Woodbury & Jermaine Reihana. Please do pop and support our local artists and the gallery. This is the final week until next Wednesday 22nd!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
