In October 2019 Aidan was the highest polling candidate elected to the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and despite being a newbie he was subsequently chosen to be the Chair of the local board for the first 18 months of the three-year term.
He has agreed to come along in February to speak at this breakfast about his first few months leading the local board, his observations, and the plans he has to make a difference for the community.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
