Have you seen a silver Nissan with a number plate beginning KM?
Hi neighbours. Students at Albany Junior High School are being warned to stay vigilant after a teen was approached by a man and offered a ride. The pupil was told to get into a silver Nissan after school about 3.30pm on Rosedale Rd, Albany, on November 14. The man was described as being European, possibly in his 60s, of a large build and possibly with a moustache. The vehicle's number plate was believed to have begun with KM. Anyone with information is asked to contact North Shore Police by calling 105.
Say goodbye to tyre waste
About 40% of the 6.5 million tyres Kiwis use every year are recycled, repurposed, or used as tyre-derived fuel. But the rest end up in landfills, stockpiled or dumped.
The good news is now there’s an easy solution to all that tyre waste. It’s called Tyrewise and is New Zealand’s first national tyre recycling scheme.
Tyrewise ensures that tyres in Aotearoa New Zealand are recycled or repurposed properly, saving millions from going to the landfill.
