Can you help Torbay's Ash Binns with her canned food collection for the City Mission?
Hi neighbours. We were really heartened by Torbay teenager Ash Binns initiative to deliver 1000 cans of food to the Auckland City Mission this weekend after the Mission sent out an urgent call-out for canned goods. The Mission's canned food stocks are almost exhausted after distributing more than 3000 emergency food parcels since January, containing more than 49,000 cans of food. Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
