Hop your way along to the Memory Shop on Saturday 14th October between 10am and 4.30pm for fantastic specials, some jazzy entertainment, and bargains galore – all as part of the Auckland Heritage Festival Op Shop Hop!
To celebrate the opening of our wonderful new Birkenhead shop, we’ll be hosting a free sausage sizzle, giving out spot prizes, playing host to some great entertainment, and releasing a different special every half hour for visitors to the village and intrepid Op Shop Hoppers to enjoy.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
