Retirement Home Sought for Freeloading Chooks
Hi Neighbours,
The Devonport Community Garden at Mt Cambria Reserve has 3 beautiful chooks looking for a warm and loving retirement home - sadly they have no more eggs to give - but they are beautiful girls who ask nothing more than a comfy coop, an area to scratch around in, some friendly company, a few pellets of chook food and some fresh water each day. They possibly have another year or so of life left - ideal for a vegan who would like to brighten up their backyard and have some cheery company maybe?
Any suggestions or volunteer homes out there?
Many thanks
Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?
Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.
