Police appeal to neighbours for help to identify man
Police are seeking the public's assistance to urgently identify and locate this man who they believe can help with enquiries into an incident where a man was violently stabbed on Pitt Street on Sunday afternoon.
“This was a violent attack where the actions of the offender far outweighed the minor altercation that lead to the attack and he needs to be held to account. We urge anyone who witnessed either incident, or recognises the man in the image to contact police immediately,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Lloyd Schmid.
If you have any information that could help our investigation, please contact the Auckland City Crime Squad on (09) 302- 6557.
Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555-111.
