Dear Resident, Neighbourhood Support Auckland are hoping to set up more Groups in our area but to do this they need people willing to lead.
The leader’s role is too:
· Oversee a Group of approx. 6 - 8 neighbours in their street.
· Receive Neighbourhood Support signs, stickers, and info packs for your Group.
· Be the liaison person between Neighbourhood Support Auckland, the Police, and the Street Group.
· Organise with your street contacts Neighbours Day Aotearoa Challenge as a get together.
· Establish with your street emergency management “Get Ready Week" with your neighbours Stay safe, stay informed in an emergency.
· Keep the Group contact list updated annually for safety and connection resend list through too Neighbourhood Support Auckland.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
