Hi neighbours. Auckland is on day two of alert level 3 lockdown and the city centre's streets are empty again. Are the streets empty or emptier than they normally are where you are? Have you found this eerie? Are you doing anything to make your street more lively, such as reviving teddy bear hunts or making your fence an artwork?
Hi Neighbours, It's easy to say things shouldn't be done because we need to focus on Covid-19 elimination, but maybe that's more of an argument to sort out the stadium plan. Read the story below.
While this story is mainly about Te Atatu Peninsula, it could easily be about any suburb in West Auckland. There's development going on everywhere eh. www.stuff.co.nz...
West Auckland will host New Zealand's first ever mobile plasma blood drive this week at Henderson's Trusts Arena on October 19-23.
The blood drive is a push by New Zealand Blood Service to ramp up plasma donation accessibility around the country ahead of surging demand.
Henderson's event will allow 150 whole blood donors who meet the plasma eligibility criteria to donate at a mobile drive for the first time.
It will begin at 8am to 1.30pm and people can sign up to donate here: www.nzblood.co.nz...
