Hi neighbours, a West Auckland dad is hiring a professional film director to help launch his 10-year-old daughter's career as a YouTube star. Blockhouse Bay resident Sunny Khuran says he's willing to pay someone "quite handsomely" to coach his daughter Shreya to become comfortable in front of the camera, brainstorm ideas with her and help her shoot and edit videos. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
