Forceful tradesmen leave retiree out of pocket
Ian Miller, 82, fell victim to a door-to-door sales scam that left him out of pocket and feeling deflated. The Howick pensioner was confronted by two males parading as tradies offering exterior house cleaning services on May 9.
"While the boss was shouting at me, the boy just got on and did the work," he says. "I said no, but he still did the work just the same."
