Effective Listening course

Lindsay Upton from Manukau East Council of Social Services (MECOSS)

We spend nearly half of our communication time listening, but few us take real effort to be better listeners. For those who do, however, the effort pays great dividends: better relationships, higher productivity, faster learning, and increased safety.

Join Nikki Zanchi,   BEd(Hons) DipCouns
for 3 two-hour sessions;

 Friday 12 May, 1pm to 3pm - The need for better listening
Friday 19 May, 1pm to 3pm - The process of listening
Friday 26 May, 1pm to 3pm - Creating healthy and improved relationships by listening

Each session begins with meditation.

Venue: Haseler Hall (under the All Saints Anglican Church, corner Selwyn Road and The Glebe, Howick
.

Fee per session: Free to MECOSS members & $20 non-members

A light afternoon tea will be provided.
