It is with great sadness that we have had to make the devastating decision to cancel this year’s show due to untenable ground conditions, following an exceptionally wet season.
This decision has not been made lightly and we are all heartbroken to have had to make it, but sadly it has had to be made. The ground conditions and the safety of our trade, competitors and visitors was paramount in our minds during the making decision.
We appreciate the affect this will have on everyone involved and please be assured we will contact each and every one of you directly to discuss the personal ramifications to you and any monetary transactions that need to be resolved.
We ask for your patience in this matter as we have thousands of people to contact so it will take time, but be assured we will get to you.
We as a committee are committed to the show whole heartedly and express again our sadness towards adding the third notch in the weather cancellation record of the shows 108-year history.
We look forward to turning our focus to a fantastic event in 2017.
Sincerest Regards,
The Clevedon A&P Assn Committee
