NZ Police May newsletter for Onehunga & surrounding areas
Hi Neighbours,
Firstly a huge welcome back to our Community Constable Don Allan, who's been on covid 19 front line duty.
How about we send him an email with "Welcome back & Thank you" in the subject line, Donald.allan@police.govt.nz
Don's message to us all ........
Hi All,
I hope that you have all kept well and have coped over the last two months with public health act restrictions and social distancing guidelines.
I do apologise for the lack of engagement over this time, however as I have had a temporary change in duties that has resulted in having to support front line staff and work their roster leaving little or no time for community engagement.
Thank you for all your support over this time.
Warm regards
Don

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
