The learning has helped my work to bridge gaps between Māori and others in our multicultural communities. When I look back, I feel really proud. It’s a great feeling when I speak te reo Māori. If you work for a school or club teaching sewing or crafts or are part of a charity making things (especially for animal charities). I have a lot of material and other things to help that you are welcome to have free.
I would rather they go somewhere doing good but if you are an individual and would like it all please could you pay me something towards it. I would consider $90 more than reasonable given the amount and quality. The materials alone cost at least four times that.
You’d have to collect from Mangere as there’s quite a lot including:
Lace
Silk
Materials
Bias binding
Knitting needles
Hooks and eyes
Sewing needles
Filling
Foam
Buttons
Amongst other things!
