Poll: Is the government doing enough to support vulnerable communities throughout the Covid-19 pandemic?
A food bank in south Auckland has seen the number of calls it receives triple in the latest lockdown, and it is struggling to cope with the demand for food parcels.
The government has offered the wage subsidy, interest free loans for small businesses and the Covid-19 income relief payment for people who have lost jobs in the pandemic.

We are a new support group for seniors. We meet once a month to share our experience and discuss our challenges & concerns.
With the growth of our ageing population, and more seniors living alone, this group would explore and advocate/address the social, emotional and physical needs of our seniors, and promote positive and healthy ageing.
We meet on the first Saturday afternoon of the month in Mt. Roskill. Our next meeting will be 3 Jan 2026.
